Marquee Singapore has stacked all three nights of Formula 1 race weekend. Diplo on 9 October, Anyma on 10 October, Martin Garrix on 11 October — and the middle one is the story, because it is Anyma's first ever Singapore show.
Anyma is Matteo Milleri, one half of Tale Of Us, and the project has become one of the few electronic live shows people travel for — melodic techno wrapped in enormous cinematic visuals and humanoid figures rather than a DJ behind a booth. It has headlined Coachella and filled the Sphere in Las Vegas. It has never played Singapore. It is playing Singapore on the Saturday of race weekend, at Marquee, which sits inside Marina Bay Sands — close enough to the circuit that you can hear it.
Diplo opens the weekend on the Friday and Martin Garrix closes it on race day itself. For a single venue to hold all three across one weekend is the kind of booking that usually gets split across a festival.
Marina Bay closes to traffic, the whole city centre reorganises itself around the circuit, and every room within walking distance fills. If you're out that weekend, it's worth knowing what else is nearby — and worth checking in as you go, because the venues around Marina Bay pay some of the highest multipliers on the map.
